Sometimes the next step isn’t another change. It’s a better decision.
A new website won’t solve an unclear offer. More marketing won’t necessarily help if you’re unsure what you want to be known for. And adding another service might create more complexity when what you really need is focus.
One of the most valuable things I’ve learned as a UX designer is that the problem people initially identify isn’t always the one that needs solving. You have to ask better questions, look at how everything connects, and understand what’s actually creating the disconnect.
That’s the approach I bring to your business. Before we decide what to change, we take a closer look at what’s really going on.
The goal isn’t to make your business look different. It’s to make sure the decisions behind it support the business you actually want to build.
The outcome
You’ll walk away with more than ideas.
A direction worth pursuing
Understand what’s holding your business back, evaluate your options, and decide what deserves your attention next.
Something you can actually use
One focused piece of work that moves your business forward. That might mean refining your offer messaging, improving part of your website or client experience, or creating a tool to evaluate your next opportunity.
A clear path forward
A personalized plan for the next 30–90 days, with priorities, next steps, and decisions you no longer need to keep revisiting.
The EDIT Method
From scattered ideas to a business with a clear direction.
Borrowing from the way I approach complex problems in UX design, we’ll look at what’s happening across your business, challenge assumptions, explore possibilities, and decide what actually needs your attention. Then we’ll turn those decisions into something you can use.
- Step 01
Examine
What’s actually happening?
Understand the real problem, not just the symptoms.
- Step 02
Decide
What direction are we taking?
Choose the strategic priority worth pursuing.
- Step 03
Ideate
What could the solution look like?
Explore approaches, evaluate options, and develop a practical solution.
- Step 04
Transform
How do we bring it to life?
Create the agreed deliverable and establish the next steps.
What This Could Look Like
Sometimes what needs to change isn’t what you think.
Maybe you’ve updated your branding, but something about it still doesn’t feel like you.
Or your website lists everything you’re capable of doing, but people have a hard time understanding what you actually want to be known for.
Maybe you’ve been trying different marketing approaches because they seem to be working for other entrepreneurs, but nothing quite fits the way you want to run your business.
It’s easy to keep changing the visible pieces when you’re not sure what’s creating the disconnect.
That’s where a different perspective can make all the difference.
Together, we’ll look at what your business is communicating, what you actually want it to communicate, and where those two things aren’t lining up.
Then we’ll decide what deserves your attention and turn that decision into something tangible.
Because the goal isn’t to keep changing things. It’s to make changes that actually move your business forward.

A Look at the Work
When your brand looks good, but doesn’t quite feel like you.
Shannon had recently updated her branding, but something wasn’t connecting. The pieces looked good on their own, yet she wasn’t sure how to use them or why they didn’t feel right.
As we talked about her business, her values, and how she wanted people to feel when they worked with her, a disconnect started to emerge.
Shannon brought warmth, depth, safety, and comfort to her work. But her visual identity was communicating something much heavier and moodier.
The issue wasn’t simply choosing better colors or fonts. It was understanding what her business actually needed to communicate.
We used those insights to create a visual identity that better reflected her personality, her work, and the experience she wanted to offer her clients.
“I’m OBSESSED!
You captured something I’ve been circling for a long time but couldn’t quite see clearly until now. It truly feels like coming home to my work in a way that makes showing up feel more grounded.”

Your guide
Hi, I’m Brittany.
I’ve spent much of my career figuring out how to make complicated things work better.
From teaching and interior design to my work as a senior product designer, I’ve learned to look beyond what’s immediately visible, ask thoughtful questions, and find practical ways to make things simpler, clearer, and more intuitive.
In UX design, that means understanding how people move through an experience, identifying where something isn’t working, and designing a better way forward.
Now I bring that same perspective to women entrepreneurs navigating changes in their businesses.
And because I’ve been through my own share of business experiments, changing directions, and figuring things out along the way, I understand that knowing something needs to change doesn’t always mean knowing what to do next.
My role isn’t to hand you a formula. It’s to help you see what you might be missing, make decisions that fit where you’re going, and bring those decisions to life.

Questions about the Business Evolution Experience
Who is the Business Evolution Experience for?
It’s for women entrepreneurs who have already built a business but are ready to rethink their direction, offers, messaging, or how their business works. You don’t need to have everything figured out, but you should be ready to make decisions and take action.
What if I’m not sure what I want to change?
That’s exactly where we can start. We’ll look at what’s working, what feels disconnected, and which opportunities make the most sense to pursue. You don’t need to come in with a solution.
What will I actually walk away with?
You’ll receive a personalized Business Evolution Plan, one focused implementation deliverable, and support between our sessions. Depending on your needs, that deliverable might be updated messaging, a website improvement plan, or a tool to test or compare possible directions.
Will you make the changes for me?
Yes, within the scope of our agreed-upon project. I’ll bring both strategic guidance and hands-on expertise to our work. This isn’t a full-service agency engagement, but you won’t be left to execute everything on your own.
How long is the experience, and what does it cost?
The experience runs for eight weeks and includes six private 60-minute sessions, focused support between calls, and the deliverables outlined above. This is a 4-figure investment.
How do I get started?
Start by booking a free consultation. We’ll talk about your business, what you’re hoping to accomplish, and whether the experience is the right fit. Once we’ve both confirmed it is, you’ll receive a private link to enroll.
